“The difficulty of explaining ‘why I am a Catholic’ is that there are two thousand reasons all amounting to one reason: that Catholicism is true.” - G. K. Chesterton

Initiation into the Catholic Faith

The “Order of Christian Initiation for Adults” (or Children) is a process that the Catholic Church has in place for those wishing to join the Church, who are not already Catholic. This process involves a series of classes to help you better understand the faith that we profess as well as getting you involved into the parish community as a member of the Catholic faith, particularly here at Saint Peter Catholic Church.

For information on the classes and scheduling, please contact Father David Furka at (337) 256-8375 or frfurka@stpetersofnewiberia.com.
