Welcome to St. Peter's
Youth Ministries
| "We, as ministers, are first and foremost called to be sacramental, that is, our lives are to be transformed. Just as the priest invokes the Holy Spirit and bread is transformed into the Body and Blood of Jesus, so are we to invoke Christ to pour out the Spirit on us that we may become Christ to the young people we serve.” |

Theology of the Body for Teens "Going Beyond Teen Chastity" |
|
Teens are facing unique challenges in the culture today.
These challenges, especially those concerning sexuality and
human and divine love, deserve more than the outdated "do
this, don't do that" approach to catechesis. Today's
challenges need to be addressed with a "new language" that
explains how authentic Christianity makes sense because it
corresponds perfectly with the deepest desire of the human
heart. Theology of the Body for Teens is an
exciting and dynamic program based on Pope John Paul II's
revolutionary Theology of the body being offered to High
School teens at St. Peter's. Ths program will give teens the
answers and the tools they need to successfully and safely
navigate through life. Contact Julie Kilgore at 369-3816 for more information |

"Food for Thought"
by Fr. Charles Langlois:
"If you are texting throughout Mass, have you really been to
Mass? I would like to ask parents to be vigilant about your child's
use of a cell phone during Mass.
ADVISORY! The Internet can be a great place to gather information and to network with others...it can also be a bad place. Parents should be aware of what their children do and what websites they visit on the Internet.
