Couple Checkup

The Couple Checkup is designed to help you and your partner build a more satisfying and intimate relationship. Just answering the questions will stimulate thoughts and attitudes about your relationship. It is designed to activate dialogue, discovery, and increase the overall quality of your relationship.

It will help you discover your strengths as a couple. Strengths are what enable you to enjoy, and to continue developing a healthy relationship. It will also help you identify issues that are threatening the vitality of your relationship and may need to be addressed.

Welcome to St. Peter's Catholic Church

You enter this Church...not as a stranger, but as a guest of God. He is your heavenly Father. Come, then, with joy in your heart and thanks on your lips into His presence, offering Him your love and service. Be grateful to the strong and loyal ones who, in the name of Jesus Christ, built this place of worship, and to all who have beautified it and hallowed it with their prayers and praise. Ask His blessing on those who love His house of faith as the inspiration of their labor, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit, and may that blessing rest on you, both on your going out and your coming in.

8:00 am Mass at St. Peter's is aired on Radio Station KANE (am 1240) every Sunday

In accord with Canon regulations, there will no longer be Saturday wedding Masses or ceremonies after 2:00 p.m.

Our church community is blessed to have parishioners who give their time to distributing the Holy Eucharist, reading the Word of God, passing the collection baskets, etc. They are truly a blessing to our church parish.

St. Peter's Catholic Church & KC Council 1208 present a practical and effective program to help Catholics better understand their Faith.
Would you like to learn more about your Catholic faith but don't have time to read a lot of books? If so, we have an exciting program starting here at St. Peter's. You will find a display in the Church vestibule offering inspiring and educational Catholic CDs and brochures. These CDs include explanations of our Catholic Faith, accounts of God's incredible mercy in the personal lives of Catholics and practical information for living your faith. These CDs are especially effective for those who would like to learn more about Christ and their faith, but have little time to study. Use your car as a university on wheels - listen as you drive, or even as you exercise. If you are able to support the program, the $3.00 recommended donations are gratefully appreciated and needed to make new titles available in the future. Look for the display in the back of the Church.

Lost and Found
The Lost and Found items are located in the locked glass display case in the vestibule of the church. The items currently in the case will be kept on display for one more month. After that time they will be donated to appropriate charities/organizations.

If you have lost anything in church, please go to the display case to see if it was found and placed there. To retrieve an item, contact an usher before or after Mass. They will be glad to assist you. Lost and Found items will be cleared out of the case on a rotation basis once every six months.

Mass Intentions
The Book for Mass Intentions for the year 2012 is now open. You may come by the Parish Office to schedule your Mass Intentions for 2012 during regular business hours.
