Jarrell. It is customary that the pastor or a religious accompany the
candidate(s) to the Vocation Supper. A sponsoring pastor/religious may bring one

Married Couples Retreat
September 27-29, 2013
There will be a preached retreat for couples consisting of talks and meditations
pertinent to living out the sacrament of Matrimony.
Fr. Champagne is the Retreat Director, with married couples also giving talks.

washcloths. The Retreat will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Retreat Center (103

Camp Stanislaus Now Taking Applications
June 9 - July 6, 2013
Camp Stanislaus, an overnight and day camp for boys ages eight through fifteen,
is currently taking applications for campers for the 2013 camp session. Camp
Stanislaus will run from June 9 through July 6. Campers can sign up for one,
two, three, or four week sessions.
The philosophy of camp is to provide campers with a noncompetitive environment
to grow and enjoy their camp experiences. The main focus of Camp Stanislaus is
the total development of the camper. Given the many years of operation, many
fathers continue to send their sons to enjoy the wonderful camp experience that
they had as a young boy at Camp Stanislaus. At Camp Stanislaus, campers will
enjoy sailing, water skiing, archery, swimming, field sports, crafts, hobbies,
day trips and much more.

Christ in the City
St. Mary Catholic Church

1st Thursday of the Month at 7:00 p.m.
Christ in the City provides a monthly opportunity for young adults to worship
through Eucharistic Adoration. At each hour-long service, those in attendance
pray in silence before the Blessed Sacrament, hear a homily, sing, and go to
confession.
Christ in the City will be held on the 1st Thursday of every month at St. Mary,
Mother of the Church (419 Doucet Rd., Lafayette, LA) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The events are open to young adults in their 20’s and 30’s, married or single.
Each Christ in the City event will be followed by a time of fellowship at
Cornerbar.
