Welcome Home!

"As youth ministers we are first and foremost called to be sacramental, that is, our lives are to be transformed. Just as the priest invokes the Holy Spirit and bread is transformed into the Body and Blood of Jesus, so are we to invoke Christ to pour out the Spirit on us that we may become Christ to the young people we serve."

Youth Ministry

Feeling called to be more involved in your Church Parish? If you are searching for a ministry, why not give Youth Ministry a chance? There are numerous positions available for you to use your talents to help shape the faith lives of our children and teens. Maybe you want to work behind the scenes, setting up the environments and hall for the Life Night on Sunday. Maybe you want to help provide a snack or meal to our teens as they spend time learning about their Faith. Maybe you want to be a small group leader, or Core Team member, and guide discussions of faith in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

If any of these sound like you, give Kevin Judice a call at 380-6052 or email him at kjudice@stpetersofnewiberia.com.

"Food for Thought" by Fr. Charles Langlois

"If you are texting throughout Mass, have you really been to Mass? I would like to ask parents to be vigilant about your child's use of a cell phone (or anything electronic) during Mass".
